Chad Oliver - Director of Coaching

Chad
Oliver is a McKinney High School
graduate (1989). He graduated from Texas Wesleyan University in
1998 with an all-level Physical Education degree. He started playing
volleyball at FBC McKinney in the 8th grade, continued through high
school and played on several men’s club teams in college. Past coaching
experience includes six years of club coaching and five years as
the Junior Varsity coach and 1 year as Varsity Assistant at McKinney
High School. He has taught elementary physical education at Glen
Oaks elementary for the past 9 years, and was nominated for teacher
of the year in 2003. Coach Oliver became a Christian when he was
9 years old and has been an active member of First Baptist Church
of McKinney since 1985. He served as FBC McKinney’s Summer Day Camp
director from 1992-1994 and has enjoyed being the summer sports
volleyball camp director, also at FBC for the past 2 years. Coach
Oliver lives in McKinney with his wife, Holly (graduate of McKinney
High School in 1990), two sons Jackson and Preston, and their dog
Daisy. Chad and Holly met in the youth group at FBC and were high
school sweethearts and have been married for 13 years. In his spare
time he enjoys hunting and fishing with Jackson, as well as coaching
his little league soccer team, and taking walks with the family.

Erika Railey

Erika
Railey loves volleyball! It is her passion and she
wants to share and spread it to everyone. She currently attends
Austin College after transferring from Texas A&M to pursue her
volleyball career. She is majoring in history, minoring in
psychology, and will be getting her masters in elementary education.
She is originally from from McKinney and a member of Trinity Presbyterian
Church. This will be her fourth year of coaching volleyball.
She was the assistant coach of McKinney Magic and a head coach at
Dallas Summit for the past two years. Erika played volleyball
at Austin College for a year and played in High School. She
played Varsity as a sophomore, earned Honorable Mention two seasons
in a row, and was named team MVP her senior year. She was captain
of her high school team and played club for three years. Erika feels
that Volleyball is about so much more than winning or losing: it’s
about heart, work ethic, perseverance, determination, and teamwork.
Most importantly, it’s about having fun! She wants to teach
her team the basic fundamentals of volleyball and how to win games,
but she hopes mostly to inspire them to be their best, play their
best, and love every minute of it! "God has blessed me
with all my volleyball experiences, and I can’t wait to share them
with you!!" |

Alexis Wood

Alexis
Wood has coached various clinics throughout the years; most recently
for McKinney Boyd High School. She was the Assistant Coach
for a club team out of Fayetville for the 16s - FAVA. She
head coached and assisted at the World Volleyball Training Center
in New York for 3 years as both a court and setter coach.
Her playing career lasted more than 11 years; most recently she
played for the University of North Carolina at Pembroke as a setter.
Prior to college, she played for her high school teams and graduated
in 2005. During high school she was named 1st team All Concorde
District, 2nd team All-Concord District, 1st Team All-Northern Region,
1st team All-State Setter and 1st Team All-Met in the Washington
Post. She was also named MVP for both District and Region.
She also played for Metro Virginia Club Volleyball for 3 years and
for NVVA 18 Select. |

Kelly
Warrington

Kelly
Warrington is a native Texan who grew up in the McKinney area.
Kelly is coming to Club Legacy with the desire and passion to
advance the athletes of McKinney to new heights. She attended Texas
A&M University at Commerce where she danced on the Pom Squad while
earning a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology. Her coaching experience
includes Texas Assault club volleyball, secondary school teams
and numerous camps including MHS and Cooper Aerobics Center at
Craig Ranch. Kelly started her coaching career at Faubion Middle
School in McKinney. She then joined the coaching staff with the
McKinney Lionettes as the Varsity Assistant Coach. While at
MHS, Kelly feels this is where her true love for volleyball really began
after several years of service. Kelly was sad to leave the program
in 2005 for an opportunity of a lifetime as the Program Director
at Cooper Aerobics Center at Craig Ranch here in McKinney.
Kelly enjoys being around the elite in the fitness industry
such as Dr. Kenneth Cooper. She loves spending time with her
husband Patrick and their new son Brady. She loves working out,
reading, painting and relaxing with friends and family as well as
attending First Baptist of McKinney. Kelly is excited to bring her
experience and enthusiasm for volleyball to Club Legacy.

Jessica Camp

Jessica
Camp graduated from Lindale High School in 2000. There she
played varsity volleyball as an outside hitter and defensive specialist.
Her team made it to the regional finalist match. Then she graduated
from Baylor University in 2004 with a BA Secondary Education. Jessica
played for the Baylor Club Volleyball team and qualified for nationals
each year. She taught Biology and Volleyball and Basketball
in Lindale for 2 years and is now at Wakeland High School in Frisco.
There she teaches Biology and Medical Microbiology/Pathophysiology
and is varsity assistant for volleyball and freshmen basketball
coach. She grew up in a Christian home and came to know the
Lord at age 9. Jessica attends the Village Church in Highland
Village. She enjoys playing volleyball, running, watching
sports, and hanging out with family and friends. |

Maggie Monogue
|

Maggie
Monogue began playing volleyball in the 7th grade. She played club
volleyball for 4 years on McKinney Magic (2004), Dallas Summit (2005),
and Dallas Premier (2006-2007). She qualified for the Junior Olympics
twice (2006 & 2007) and made the varsity volleyball team at
McKinney North High School as a freshman. While playing as a middle
blocker at North she received 1st Team All-District, Offensive Player
of the Year, All-Academic, and All-Area Newcomer of the Year. She
was zoned for McKinney Boyd High School her junior year where in
2006 they made it to the playoffs and were the Bi-District Champions
without any senior teammates. In 2007, she was moved to the outside
hitter position. Boyd was undefeated district champs and went
deep into playoffs making it to the regional finals. Their final
record was 45-3. The past two years she was named 1st Team All-District
and placed on the McKinneynews.net Super Six team. In 2007, she
was also the Texas Premier Tournament MVP. Academically, Maggie
is number 3 in her senior class, founder and president of the Environmental
Activists Club, and an active member of National honor Society.
Maggie has previous coaching experience at various clinics and is
excited to be the head coach of the 13s Local team. |

Tonia Hatfield

Tonia
graduated from Saginaw
High School, in
Saginaw, MI
in 1993 and has a B.A. in Marketing/CIS. In high school she
played varsity volleyball as an outside hitter. She made the
District All American Team and State Honorable Mention both Junior
and Senior year. She was awarded a scholarship to
University of South Alabama
and was the top 5 in
kills and blocks for the Sunbelt Conference. Tonia also was selected
as MVP at the Southwest Louisana Tournament. Tonia is still
active playing four years in USAV as well as local leagues. Tonia
played for Team Alaska Reverse Co-ed and Co-ed team winning two
gold and two silver medals and also named MVP for reverse co-ed
for both years. The last two years Tonia has played Women
with two local teams. Tonia coached two years at Club Pride
YMCA 14s and 12s. She grew up in a Christian home with a family
filled with pastors, ministers, and evangelists. Tonia attends
church at the Rhema of Life in Plano,
TX. Tonia also has a daughter
that she spends most of her spare time with. She enjoys playing
volleyball, board games, movies and hanging out with family and
friends. |

Tara Zappe
|

Tara Zappe is a graduate of Frisco High School and received her Masters
Degree in Sport Management and Behavior from the University of Oklahoma.
She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science with a minor
in English from Schreiner University where she played volleyball as
a right side hitter. She played volleyball, basketball, and track
for Frisco High School where she received Honorable Mention, Second
Team, and First Team All-District Honors in volleyball. She
also received the MVP award for track as well as the Brian Smith Memorial
Award. Tara begins her twelfth year as a coach while remembering,
"God will never leave you or forsake
you" (Hebrews 13:5-6).
She was the head varsity volleyball coach at Casady School
in Oklahoma City. She was also a head volleyball, basketball and track
coach at Thomas Jefferson in Joplin, Missouri where the volleyball
team finished with a record of 28-2. The basketball team finished
in the top eight in the state of Missouri. She was a freshman
and J.V. volleyball and basketball coach for Kent Denver School in
Englewood, Colorado where she also served as an Associate Athletic
Director, and she received the award of Assistant Coach of the Year. At
the club level, she coached 13s and 15s for Velocity, Dallas Vision,
Texas Attack and Oklahoma Wind. She taught physical education
at Casady and Kent Denver School, and she is now starting her sixth
year at Frisco High School teaching sophomore and junior English.
Tara was the freshman volleyball and basketball coach at Frisco High
School for three years; now, she is beginning her third year as a
TASO volleyball official with her husband, Andy, so she can spend
more time with her family. Tara and her family attends Wesley
United Methodist Church in McKinney. Andy and Tara have a three
year old son Max, and they enjoy riding their bikes, walking their
dogs (Zeke and Josey), camping, reading books, and playing sports.
